SettlementOne Valuation is a nationwide Appraisal Management Company with corporate headquarters located in Southern California.  We are actively seeking independent contractors to perform internal quality control audits on residential 1-4 unit appraisals.  Job Description: Audits and analyzes appraisals prepared by fee panel appraisers. Validate accuracy, reasonableness, appraisal methodology, compliance with industry standards, internal policies/procedures and regulatory requirements.  Recommend updates and revisions as required. Requirements: Current Licensed Residential, Certified Residential or Certified General license in good standing required.  A minimum of three years of direct appraisal or appraisal review experience. Job Summary: Appraisal report production work, general office support and problem solving. Appraisal Research and Assistance – training will be provided. Qualifications: English or Real Estate major or equivalent; ability to edit technical reports for grammar, spelling, consistency and concision; ability to format and assemble professional appraisal reports under deadlines; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat; computer literacy and basic technical problem solving skills; ability to work independently and manage time efficiently; must be extremely detail oriented, organized, and thorough; interest in learning about real estate appraisal is a plus! Hours: PT (15-20 hours/week M-F). Some flexibility regarding days and times. Compensation: Hourly based on experience with opportunity for advancement.
