The November General Membership Lunch Meeting will be held on
Tuesday, November 6, 2012, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm. Check in begins at 11:30 am.

The lunch speaker will be Fred Pierce, President and CEO of Pierce Education Properties. Mr. Pierce is an SDSU graduate who began his real estate career as a real estate appraiser. He founded Pierce Education Properties in 1995, and became the master developer in the redevelopment of the land surrounding SDSU. Today, Pierce Education Properties owns and operates over 5,000 beds that are reportedly valued at over $275 million across the country. Mr. Pierce was recently honored as the 2012 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the Real Estate & Construction category. Mr. Pierce will talk about how he founded his company and how the company has grown to what it is today. He will also talk about the redevelopment surrounding SDSU as well as regional/national trends in the industry.
Past Chapter Presidents will be honored at the lunch meeting.
Meal choices are Hoisin Glazed Salmon Filet (with ginger apple chutney, whipped sweet potato, and sauteed spinach) OR Chicken Piccata (with a lemon butter creme sauce, rice pilaf, and fresh seasonal vegetables).
Cost is No Charge for San Diego Chapter Members; $30 for other Appraisal Institute members, or $35 for non-members.
