The San Diego Chapter of the Appraisal Institute is comprised of almost 275 real estate professionals, including 140 who hold either the prestigious MAI or SRA designation. The Chapter's boundaries include both San Diego and Imperial Counties. In addition to exhibiting a higher level of competence than the minimum standards required of appraisers who are merely licensed or certified, Appraisal Institute Designated Members, Candidates for Designation, and Practicing Affiliates are committed to upholding a rigorous code of professional ethics.
